The FM industry’s outstanding development potential has been reinforced with the publication of 32 tender notices for FM services with a total estimated value of more than £126 . - Zenith Multi Academy Trust is looking for a supplier to provide cleaning services for the trust. The contract is worth £5M. The deadline for submitting bids is 30 June 2023.
- St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Company has put out a tender to provide catering services to primary and secondary schools for the trust. The contract is worth £3M.The deadline for submitting bids is 26 June 2023.
- The University of Southampton is looking for a supplier to provide electrical maintenance services. The contract value is between £6M – £8M. The deadline for submitting bids is 27 June 2023.
- Oxford Direct Services is looking to appoint suppliers to deliver responsive repairs services. This Framework agreement will cover 3 Lots: Lot1- Roofing and guttering, Lot 2- Drainage works, Lot 3- Plastering. The deadline for submitting bids is 27 June 2023.
- NI Water and its subsidiaries are looking for a supplier to provide repair and maintenance services. The contract is worth £20M. The deadline for submitting bids is 23 June 2023.
- Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of catering services to STEAM Museum of the Great Western Railway Swindon. The deadline for submitting bids is 03 July 2023.

Contract Awards
Multiple contracts have been awarded in the Facilities Management industry last week and the FM sector has made significant progress These contracts include a wide variety of services, including both soft and hard FM. In this update, we will showcase some of the most notable contract awards from the past week. Public sector awards:
- The Polden Bower & Avalon School Federation in partnership with The Bridge School (The Sedgemoor Learning Partnership) has awarded a further competition for cleaning services to Sansum Solutions Group Limited.
- B I ELECTRICAL SERVICES N I LTD has won a Mechanical & Electrical Servicing and Maintenance contract from Northern Ireland Housing Executive.
- Glasgow Life has appointed Spectrum Service Solutions to deliver the cleaning services for the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships (Glasgow Activities) that will take place from the 03 – 13 August 2023.
- Atalian Servest has won a contract to deliver catering services at The Thomas Adams School (part of the 3-18 Education Trust), Wem, Shropshire and Bridgnorth Endowed School at Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
Private sector awards :
- Spectrum Service Solutions has extended its contract with global technology, software and engineering giant Emerson to provide cleaning and consumables services in three English facilities in Stockton, Stockport and Leicester.
- Mitie Security has been awarded a new five-year contract extension by Westinghouse Springfields Fuels Ltd, a nuclear fuel production facility responsible for designing, manufacturing, and delivering fuel for nuclear power stations in the UK and internationally.
- EJ Musk Process Services, part of the Edwin James Group, has won a five-year utilities maintenance deal with global food manufacturer Kellogg’s following a competitive tender.
- Tilbury Douglas has been appointed on the new Pagabo Refit and Refurbishment Framework, a four-year framework which went live in May 2023.
- DMA Group has secured the maintenance contract for Notting Hill Genesis Housing Association’s London office portfolio.
- G4S Secure Solutions has won a multi-million-pound contract for services at several Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office buildings.
