This Week Tender Alerts
A total of 30 tender notices for FM services with a combined value of more than £200 million have been published, indicating the FM industry’s outstanding development potential. - The Spring Partnership Trust has decided to initiate a tender process for their catering services in order to explore potential financial and qualitative advantages. The deadline for submitting bids is 22nd June 2023.
- Yorkshire and Humber Police is inviting bids for a re-tender of a service that involves providing routine and reactive cleaning services, including individual building cleaning, window cleaning, laundry services, as well as periodic and reactive cleaning services to the Yorkshire and the Humber Police Forces. The deadline for bid submissions is 19th June 2023.
- Falkirk Council intends to enter into a Repair & Maintenance Services Framework Agreement for the Supply, Delivery, and/or Installation of Shower Trays and Slip Resistant Flooring across various locations within the Falkirk Council Area. The deadline for bid submissions is 19th June 2023.
- Southside Housing Association is procuring Multi-Lot Contracts to deliver Responsive Repairs Maintenance Services during Normal Working Hours in Glasgow. The contract is valued at £6M. The deadline for bid submissions is 19th June 2023.
- United Utilities Water Limited is seeking a supplier to provide Total Facilities Management Services (TFM) for the Company’s Operational Estate. The deadline for bid submissions is 16th June 2023.
- One Housing, a division of the Riverside Group, is inviting tenders from experienced and qualified organizations for Lot 1 – Cleaning Services and Lot 2 – Grounds Maintenance Services. The deadline for bid submissions is 26th June 2023.
- Ousedale School is in search of a supplier to provide cleaning services under a 5-year contract. The deadline for bid submissions is 23rd June 2023.

Contract Awards
The FM sector has made significant progress over the last week, which has resulted in the awarding of multiple contracts to the public and private sectors. These contracts include a wide variety of services, including both soft and hard FM. In this update, we will showcase some of the most notable contract awards from the past week. Public sector awards:
- Crown Commercial Services (CCS) has awarded G4S Secure Solutions UK (SSUK) a two-year, multi-million pound UK government contract to provide front of house and security services at a number of Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) buildings in London and the South East.
- Aramark Limited has been awarded a contract to deliver prison catering services at HMP Birmingham, HMP Bullingdon, HMP Erlestoke and HMP Wymott.
- Barking and Dagenham Trading Partnership Limited has been awarded a contract for Catering Services at The Palmer Catholic Academy.
- Echelon Consultancy Ltd has awarded a contract for the delivery of estate services to Just Ask Estate Services Limited. The 10-year contract is worth £13M.
- CleanTEC Services, Birmingham (UK) has won a cleaning services contract from Red Box Consultancy Services Limited.
- TJ Services Wales Limited has won a repair and maintenance services contract from City & County of Swansea.
Private sector awards:
- Office relocation and workplace change company, Business Moves Group (BMG), has won a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further two years with Leeds Beckett University.
- Hard FM specialist, Jaguar Building Services, has secured the contract to provide M&E services at 8 Lancelot Place, located in Knightsbridge, SW7.
- Novus Property Solutions has landed a place on a newly-launched framework by Greener Futures Partnership and Pretium Frameworks to provide a series of decarbonisation-focused retrofit works to a significant number of properties across England and Wales.
- Q3 Services Group has been awarded a high-end, residential maintenance contract with GWRC (Grosvenor Waterside Residents Company Ltd), at the exclusive Grosvenor Waterside development in Chelsea.
- 5Atalian Servest, part of the OCS Group, has been awarded a three-year contract at the prestigious Wellcome Genome Campus for delivering cleaning, washrooms and waste segregation services.
- Following a rigorous tender process, EMCOR UK has successfully retained its contract with DE&S Deca to provide a range of services, including carbon reduction, asset management, fire systems, waste management and project services.
