Companies across the facilities management spectrum have secured notable deals, demonstrating their expertise and capabilities in delivering top-notch facility management services. In this update, we will showcase some of the most notable contract awards from the past week.
     
Public sector awards:
   

1. Innovate Services Ltd has been appointed to provide cleaning services to the Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School for 5 years. The contract starts on 31st July 2023.
2. Cucina Restaurants Ltd has won a contract to provide catering services for Loreto College. The contract duration is five years.
3. Barking and Dagenham Trading Partnership Limited has been awarded a contract to provide catering services for James Cambell Primary School and Eastbury Primary School. The contract is for five years and ends on 30 March 2028.
4. Corin Dudley Electrical Services Limited  has won a repair and maintenance contract from Lewes & Eastbourne Councils for a duration of 3 years.
5. Crown Security Solutions Ltd has been awarded a contract to provide Security Service across its mixed multi-site, multi stakeholder portfolio by the West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
6. Laplace Solutions Limited has won a repair and maintenance services contract from the Glasgow City Council. The contract is for the inclusive maintenance of the Council’s 6 cremators.

     
Private sector awards:
   

1. The Defence, Marine & Aerospace sector of ESS, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, has formed part of Landmarc Support Service’s (Landmarc’s) successful bid for the £560m Training Estate Support Contract.
2. Caterplus, a caterer specialising in the care and retirement living sector, has been awarded a 5-year contract by RMBI Care Co. to provide catering services for 13 of its care homes across England and Wales. The contract is valued at £25m.
3. Seddon’s painting team has been awarded a major reactive maintenance and refurbishments contract with Transport for Greater Manchester to carry out important maintenance works for the region’s 99 Metrolink stations, bus stations and throughout the region’s growing public transport network.
4. Mechanical and electrical building services provider J S Wright has secured a deal worth more than £2.5 million for a major new development of all-affordable housing in Surrey at Thames View House.
5. DMA Group, has regained a multi-year mechanical and electrical maintenance contract with Notting Hill Genesis Housing Association to carry out 24/7 planned and reactive maintenance, small works, and projects at the Association’s offices portfolio.
6. Veolia, has won a new FM contract with Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust to provide hard FM services across the Trust’s estate covering 144,300 m2 of patient care facilities, and managing around 20,000 assets.
7. Spectrum Service Solutions has won a contract with The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) Edinburgh Zoo to provide cleaning, security services, consumables, window cleaning and waste streaming in all public areas.
8. Jaguar Building Services has secured the mechanical and electrical (M&E) contract at Hill House in the City of London.
9. Mitie has been awarded a new three-year contract, worth £4 million to deliver grounds maintenance services for Yorkshire Water, a major provider of essential water and wastewater services.
10. Novus Property Solutions has strengthened its presence in the North Wales housing sector following a trio of significant contract wins at a total value of approximately £2 million.
