Contract Award Summary
The business activity in the FM Industry gained momentum during the month of February picking up from where it left during the first month of this year. The suppliers were in demand as the buyers offered outsourcing contracts in excess of £500 Million across public and private sectors. In our monthly review on the business volumes at Baachu, we provide insights on how the industry shaped during the month through our analytical approach from our contracts database, separately for the Public & Private sector.
The Public sector authorities remained upbeat with the idea of outsourcing and offered 138 contracts worth £422 Million across service categories during the month. An uptake of more than 130% from the previous month suggests that the growth momentum is here to stay post-pandemic.
The Private sector buyers also offered contracts worth more than £115 Million during the month with the Manufacturing sector contributing the maximum.
