This Week Tender Alerts

The FM outsourcing continues to march ahead with hectic pace as has been the trend in the last few weeks. The week just gone by saw FM buyers inviting bids for Services, Works and Products through more than forty tender notices amounting to £800 Million. The procurement of services took the lead with 24 notices worth £488 Million, followed by Works with nine bid invitations worth £300 Million during the week. Among the specialized services Security was the most in demand followed by equipment maintenance.
     

The buoyancy in the FM outsourcing market over a sustained period of time augurs well for the Industry and going by the trends, the short term outlook looks quite rosy for the FM stakeholders. We at Baachu, will keep you engaged with our insightful inputs on the latest in the Industry at all times. FM Contract Awards update across Public & Private Sector

The business activity in the FM Industry gained momentum during the month of May picking up from where it left during the previous month. The suppliers were in demand as the buyers offered outsourcing contracts in excess of £350 Million across public and private sectors. The contracts numbering in excess of 150 exchanged hands during the period. In this monthly analysis of contract awards, we look at the largest deals as well as who earned the largest contracts. A look at sectoral analysis gives a sneak preview of which Market Sectors were in demand.
 
Mitie got the largest contract worth £155 Million from Defence Infrastructure Organization for Hard FM Services for a 7 year term during the month.
   
The Sustainable Catering Consultancy awarded a £27.68 Million catering contract to Cucina Restaurants Limited for a 3 year term beginning 1st Aug-22.
     
Duncan Cameron & Hutchinson Limited earned an £11 Million contract for Construction works from Cambridge City Council during last Month. Profile Security Services Ltd. won a £9 Million contract from Bournemouth University for provision of Staffed Security Services.
 
Among the Sectors Central Government outperformed other Market sectors with Contracts worth more than £160 Million on offer followed by Local government authorities with 55 contracts worth more than £32 Million being awarded. The other notable contributors included Higher Education and Healthcare sectors.
