This Week Tender Alerts
The FM market stayed buoyant in the week just gone by with buyers inviting around 40 bids for contracts valued in excess of £150 Million. The month saw an even spread of tender invitations across Soft & Hard FM with Catering, Cleaning & Security being the most sought after among the soft FM while Repair & Maintenance and Construction taking the lead for Hard FM services. The Soft FM commanded around 18 bid invitations while Hard FM had 20 bid invitations during the week.
Market Insights - Contract awards for July-22
Past 4 weeks, more than 100 contracts was awarded by the public and private sector buyers. The period saw some high value deals being exchanged with the business volume in terms of total contract value going well past the £2.5 billion mark. The jump was quite significant over the corresponding period of the last month which had seen contracts worth £275 Million being awarded. Going by these trends the month of July is expected to be one of the most lucrative for FM suppliers.
