This Week Tender Alerts
The business sentiment in the FM Industry remained quite buoyant during the last week with contracting authorities inviting bids to the tune of £150 Million. The week saw 38 bid invitations across market sectors with Services again surpassing Product supplies and Works Projects. Among the 25 Service Bids, Cleaning & Catering together cornered 10 Bids worth £30 Million. Among other services Repair & Maintenance, Waste Management and Lift Maintenance were at the forefront of Tendering process. The works projects offered 4 Contracts worth £35 Million during the week. The product supplies also registered their presence with 3 contract offers.
The Measure of FM Market – An Insight for July-22
The month of July saw more than 160 contract awards under various categories for services across Hard, Softand Integrated FM. The buyers outsourced non-core activities worth £200 Million during the month with Local Government authorities leading the charge by awarding 57 contracts worth £27 Million. Education sector offered some high value soft FM deals including Cleaning & Catering to the tune of £65 Million. The Private sector buyers were not far behind and also offered some high value outsourcing deals across Hard, Soft and Integrated FM.
