The suppliers of FM services were busy in stitching deals as the market remained fluid and buyers were looking ahead in awarding contracts to the most suitable bidder in both public & private sector. The Public sector authorities were at the forefront of offering outsourcing contracts and awarded 93 contracts worth £182 Million during the month. University of East Anglia outsourced its Total facilities Management to Atalian Servest AMK Limited for a contract value of £60 Million and became the largest dealmaker in the public sector. Apart from the Local government which offered the highest thirty five contracts, the education sector led the charge with largest value contracts at £68 Million during the month.
The Private sector was not far behind and closed fifteen contracts worth more than £313 Million during Jan-22. Home Office became the top company outsourcing FM services worth £180 Million through its two contracts followed by Olympic park legacy co. offering a £50 Million worth of contracts. Office space management was the top category in the private sector with 72% value contracts on offer during the month.
