The period saw 80 tender opportunities from buyers across market sectors with public sector authorities being at the forefront with some large offerings. Hard FM services like construction works, Repair & Maintenance and Engineering Design stole the limelight with bulk of the contracts being offered in this space. The uptick in business volumes presents a very healthy trend for the FM Suppliers and going by the experience of past few weeks, the industry is bound to perform well in the coming weeks & months. Link Group Ltd – The Link group of companies provides new and improved homes for rent and sale, community regeneration services and support and care for individuals. Link Group intends to enter into a Framework Agreement with a limited number of Building Contractors to provide construction services for a four year period. This may also include the provision of design and construction services. The Framework Agreement will mainly cover the provision of construction services for new build housing, however individual projects may also include rehabilitation of existing properties, office and commercial properties, extensions and adaptations, and planned maintenance projects. This framework agreement is estimated at £8.4 Billion and will run for a 4 year term.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) is an executive agency and trading fund of the Cabinet Office of the UK Government. The Organization is seeking to establish a framework on behalf of Leicestershire Traded Services; a trading arm of Leicestershire County Council for the supply and distribution of fresh fruit, vegetables and produce. Leicestershire Traded Services currently operates catering services predominantly across Leicestershire but also has service sites within Bedfordshire, Birmingham, Cambridgeshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The agreement offers a contract value of £4 Million for a 2 year term with an option for a further two year extension.

The Authority intends to enter into two fire protection contracts – Contract A: North of the borough and Contract B: South of the borough for a period of three years with the option to extend by a further one year at an estimated total contract value of £8m for each contract. These Work agreements will typically comprise of intrusive compartmentation surveys and remedial works, passive and active fire protection, including all/any associated works, fire doors and cavity barriers, sprinkler maintenance and installation, fire hydrant maintenance, associated sundry building works and all forms of safe working access equipment.
