The front runner among the buyers who published around twenty two tender notices during the last week was Crown Commercial Services with its Lot based framework agreement valued at £1 Billion. A number of Local government authorities, primarily City Councils were also quite active and invited numerous bids. The week carried on the momentum gained from last fortnight during which also bids worth more than a Billion pounds were invited. Going by the trend registered in the last few weeks, it is clear the demand for FM services will pick pace in the coming weeks and months as the shadow of the pandemic completely evaporates. Crown Commercial Service is an executive agency and trading fund of the Cabinet Office of the UK Government. The CCS is responsible for managing the procurement of common goods and services, increasing savings for the taxpayer by centralizing buying requirements, and leading on procurement policy on behalf of the government. The agency has invited bids under through a framework agreement under Lot-4 of G-Cloud for Cloud Support Services. Suppliers must have capability to provide services in all of the following capabilities: 

Planning – the provision of planning services to enable customers to move to cloud software and/or hosting services; Setup and Migration- the provision of setup and migration services which involves the process of consolidating and transferring a collection of workloads and Security services – Maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of services and information, and protect services against threats. The contracts is estimated at £1 Billion and will run for a period of two years.

Cambridge City Council​ is a district council in the county of Cambridgeshire, which governs the City of Cambridge. Leeds City Council is the local authority of the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England.
