The FM market continues to gallop with the week just gone by witnessing bids amounting to a Total Contract Value in excess of £1.2 Billion through more than 30 tender notices being published. This again was more than two fold jump over the previous week which saw bids of £450 Million being published. Integrated Facilities management (IFM) was the preferred route taken by the buyers during this week with more than 75% of TCV asking for single supplier for all their FM needs. The momentum picked up by the FM industry from the beginning of this year coinciding with the end of pandemic seems here to stay going by the trends of the past few weeks. City of London Corporation officially and legally the Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London, is the municipal governing body of the City of London, the historic center of London and the location of much of the United Kingdom’s financial sector. The City of London Corporation (contracting as the Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London) and the City of London Police, as the Authority is putting in place a Framework Agreement for provision of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services, for use by UK public sector bodies. IFM is the consolidation of Facility Management (FM) services under a single supplier including hard and soft FM services. The Framework will be divided into multiple Lots reflecting property groups. The total contract value has been estimated at £750 Million and the contract will run for 4 Years.

Wiltshire Council is a council for the unitary authority of Wiltshire in South West England, created in 2009. The Council authorities have invited bids for the provision of a highways maintenance service to undertake a Programme of maintenance and improvements of the highways and highway assets on the highway roads network or other land including Council land in Wiltshire and associated infrastructure. The service will include construction, foundation and surface works, routine, reactive and safety maintenance, repairs and cleansing operations, signing and lining, repairs and maintenance to structures, drainage CCTV investigations and repairs, and street lighting maintenance repairs and replacements. The Contract with a total contract value of £300 Million will run for 10 Years.

Northern Ireland Housing Executive is the public housing authority for Northern Ireland. The Public sector authority has invited bids to procure suitable Contractors to carry out planned maintenance works to NIHE premises throughout Northern Ireland. These planned works will consist of Kitchen and Bathroom replacement and Rewire Works and Window and Door Replacement. The contract valued in excess of £19 Million will run for a 2 year term.

Red Kite Learning Trust is a multi-academy trust made up of 13 schools in North and West Yorkshire. The trust through a tender notice has invited bids for Total Facilities Management Solution under a framework agreement. The Total contract value has been estimated at £100 Million and the contract will run for an initial period of 3 years with an option to extend by an additional 1 year.

The Consortium is in the process to award a framework for Cleaning Services. The scope of this framework will cover student accommodation as well as routine and other cleaning services. This 4 year contract carries an estimated total contract value of £14 Million.
