The good story on the FM outsourcing continued in the past one week with more than 40 tender invitations published by public sector authorities with a contract value in the vicinity of £150 Million. A number of Works projects were also on offer primarily linked to construction and maintenance. Among the soft FM Services Security, Cleaning and Catering were the most sought after with eleven bids worth more than £54 Million published during the week. Among the categories Local governments with sixteen contracts were the lead buyers. Going by the trends of last few weeks, the FM outsourcing will remain buoyant and will pick further pace in the near term.
