The second week of this month saw continued growth impetus as was witnessed in the first week with the buyers of FM services inviting bids to the tune of £4.5 Billion with some high value framework agreements on offer.
The week saw 90 Tender notices being issued with Services taking the bulk of the business volumes with more than 60 of those tenders, Works projects, however, took the lead in value business with some high value agreements offered for bidding. Product supplies also registered their presence with a couple of tenders worth more than £100 Million. The FM industry is set for a high growth trajectory if the bid volumes of last two weeks are any indicator.

Leicester City Council is a unitary authority responsible for local government in the city of Leicester, England. The maximum framework term will be four years. The agreement will have an estimated contract value of £4.5 Million.

Coventry City Council is the local government body responsible for the governance of the City of Coventry in England. The Council seeks to enter into a single-supplier Framework Agreement for the provision of a bulky household waste collection service to be collected separately from the normal kerbside collection service. The service will separate out items suitable for re-use, pushing them up the waste hierarchy, for either re-sale or re-distribution within the Coventry and Warwickshire area. The successful contractor will be responsible for the re-sale or re-distribution and will retain any profits from this activity. The Framework Agreement will be split into 2 lots: Lot 1: Collections within Coventry City Council Boundary, Lot 2: Collections within North Warwickshire Borough Council Boundary. This lot based agreement will have a contract value of £1.4 Million and will run for a 5 year term.
