The week just gone by again proved to be productive for the FM Industry players with buyers staying upbeat on the outsourcing front and suppliers too happy to look at fresh opportunities. The week saw more than 30 tender notices being issued seeking FM services worth more than £250 Million. The Soft FM services recorded high demand with catering and waste management leading the pack followed by Repair & Maintenance from the Hard FM bucket. Education sector was at the forefront of procuring services followed by Local government authorities including city and county councils. Enfield Group of Schools would like to explore options for the delivery of Catering in their schools across two Lots, their main objectives are to maintain the quality of provision and breadth of menu along with value for money. The contract start date is 27th of May 2023 and contract tenure is for an initial three-year period. There is an option for both parties to extend the contract for a further two years subject to client satisfaction and client agreement on budgets and service levels. The estimated contract value for a 3-year term will be £9 Million.

London Universities Purchasing Consortium, acting as the Consortium, is working with the other Universities Purchasing Consortia (UPC), and their respective Member Institutions, to establish a National Framework Agreement for the Provision of Waste Management Services (Sustainable) across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The multi-lot agreement will include Lot 1: Total waste management; Lot 2: General & recycling waste services; Lot 3: Hazardous, Chemical and Radioactive waste; Lot 4: Clinical & Pharmaceutical Waste and Lot 5: Confidential Waste. The estimated contract value for this framework agreement will be £100 Million.

Rokesly Junior school, Rokesly Infant & Nursey School and Coleridge Primary School have joined together for sole purpose of conducting a procurement exercise for the supply of catering services. The schools are embarking on this tender process with the intention of appointing an experienced Supplier to deliver full catering services. The contract is intended to commence on 1st September 2023 and will be for an initial period of 3 years plus an option to extend by 2 years up to a maximum of 5 years in duration. The estimated contract value for a 3-year term is £2 Million.

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Passenger Lift Servicing Maintenance, Replacement and Refurbishments to include all Statutory Testing in line with regulations, across all sites owned and operated by the Council. The initial contract term will be for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years + 2 years for a potential total contract term of 7 years. The total estimated contract value for a 7-year term is £1.6 Million
