The last two weeks have seen quite a lot of activity on the FM procurement front as number of tender notices have been issued covering Hard, Soft and Integrated services. Catering, Cleaning and Security among the soft services and Mechanical & Electrical and Repair & Maintenance have especially been in demand during this period. The construction projects have also shown traction as per the bids issued during these couple of weeks. The period saw more than 50 bids being invited with contract value in excess of £1 Billion. LLG Schools Partnership – The LLG Schools Partnership comprises 15 Primary Schools in the Leigh, Lowton and Golborne area of Greater Manchester. The group has invited bids through this tender notice. The successful supplier will be required to provide school catering services to the group. The contract will commence on 1st September 2023 for three years to 31st August 2026, with the option to extend for a further two years from 1st September 2026. The total numbers on roll for the schools is approximately 3,600. The approximate value of the contract is £4 Million.

MEICA Maintenance Framework and EICR The Environment Agency require MEICA services (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Control and Automation) to support the operation, repair and maintenance of a variety of flood defense assets such as lock gates, pumping stations, river level maintenance weirs, and flow and level measurement systems. This Notice is to alert the market of the commence of the procurement activity. Tenderers bidding on EICR cannot bid on any maintenance lot. There is no limit to the number of lots tenderers can bid on, however, award will be limited to three lots. This framework agreement has an estimated contract value of £85 Million.
