The past one week showed continuity in sustained growth impetus that the FM industry has seen in the past many weeks now. The week gone by saw more than 65 Tender notices being issued by the buyers of FM services with Bid value in excess of £2 Billion.


There were some high value bids running into millions in Total contract value offered in the services arena which again saw the highest tenders of 42 during the week followed by Works projects with 18 Bid invitations. The product supplies also saw 3 Tender notices in the seven-day period. The overall sentiment looked quite upbeat for the industry and the trends are expected to stabilize in the next few weeks.

Surrey County Council is the county council administering certain services in the non-metropolitan county of Surrey in England. The Authority is seeking to appoint Suppliers to a Fabric & MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) Projects Framework for the delivery of projects for the installation and cyclical replacement of plant, equipment and fabric, on properties in the Authority’s and its associated partner organization’s property portfolios. The framework agreement with an estimated contract value of £150 Million will run for a 5-year term.
