The past one week proved to be quite significant for FM Suppliers as Crown Commercial Service put its Healthcare Soft FM Services framework worth £2.6

Billion up for bidding. 

In addition, the week saw 84 bid invitations worth more than £3.5 Billion from buyers and Contracting authorities in the FM Space. Services took the lead with more than 60 tenders, followed by 14 by Works projects and rest by product supplies. The week saw a quantum leap in Bid value offers over the previous seven day period.

Crown Commercial Service is an executive agency and trading fund of the Cabinet Office of the UK Government. The Authority intends to put in place a Pan Public Sector Collaborative Agreement for the provision of Healthcare Soft FM Services to be utilized by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations. The initial position, subject to engagement, is for a lot structure that covers Waste, Catering, Linen & Laundry, Cleaning, Security, Reception, Portering and Grounds Maintenance. The final lot structure of this framework will be determined as a result of the market engagement. The framework agreement comes with a contract value of £2.6 Billion and will run for 2 years.
