This week has seen Hard FM services making a beeline for the potential suppliers with Planned and Reactive Building Maintenance services leading the charge followed by Car-Parking, Catering and Waste Management from among the soft FM bucket as per the tender data available for the seven day period.
The FM buyers issued more than 40 tender notices with values in excess of £500 Million during the week. The Local City & County councils alongwith Colleges and Universities were at the forefront of FM procurement activity. Wiltshire Council has invited bids through a tender notice for Planned, Cyclical and Repairs service to dwellings, schemes, outbuildings, hard and soft landscaping, sewerage treatment facilities and any other Council building within the county of Wiltshire. The agreement comes with an estimated contract value of £122.55 Million for a 10-year term.

ESPO are seeking to establish a national framework for the provision of parking management solutions including, but not limited to, pay & display parking solutions, pay on foot parking solutions, cashless parking (mobile) solutions and civil enforcement solutions under different Lots: Lot 1 – Pay & Display Parking Solutions; Lot 2 – Pay on Foot Parking Solutions; Lot 3 – Cashless Parking (Mobile) Solutions; Lot 4 – Civil Enforcement Solutions. The framework agreement will initially be for a 2-year period with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months and an estimated contract value of Contract Value £75 Million.

University of Manchester intends to award a contract with up to two building maintenance contractors to provide Measured Term Reactive Building Maintenance Services with a potential requirement for minor works. The contracts will be awarded for an initial two year period, with the option to extend for a further two years. These contracts include a reactive service to respond to unexpected repair and maintenance work, as well as a planned maintenance service. The contracts will be split into two lots: Lot 1 – Academic Buildings and Lot 2 – Residential Buildings. The estimated contract value for a full 4-year term will be £11 Million.

The contract will be awarded in a single lot. This 2-year framework agreement will have an estimated contract value of £5 Million.
