The week gone by saw a good deal of action in terms of tenders being released in the facilities management space with some large contracts on offer from the contracting authorities. The week saw more than 70 tender notices worth Contract value in excess of £3 billion being published by the public sector authorities. East Riding Of Yorkshire Council is the local authority of the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a unitary authority, having the powers of a non-metropolitan county and district council combined. The council authority has issued tender notice for a Framework Agreement for Construction works to serve public bodies and third sector organizations primarily in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The works involved are principally civil engineering works, bridges/structure works, highway surfacing works, flood alleviation works and Coastal works.
