The Facilities management is broadly divided into two sections – Soft services and hard services. Soft services involve the provision of services that are variable in nature and help in making the premises a better place to work/reside in. Hard or Technical Services include services provided to maintain the hard infrastructure of the site like Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems.
In the UK, the Soft FM Services show a significant business potential in the near term as per Baachu’s 2022 FM Pipeline assessment. An analysis of our updated database shows that for the providers of Soft FM services, the coming few weeks will be exciting as various services will be highly sought after with Cleaning Services offering more than forty contracts valued in excess of £50 Million, followed closely by Catering services offering Twenty seven contracts worth £49 Million.
The security services, waste management and car parking services will together offer around 14 contracts valued at more than £30 Million during the next three to four weeks.
