During the past week, there were several contract awards in both the public and private sectors, mainly for services such as catering, hard facilities management (FM), and integrated FM. Below are some of the major contract awards for the week:

 

Public Sector Awards:

 

  • Alliance in Partnership Limited has been chosen to provide food services to the teaching and support staff, as well as students at a facility, with a focus on introducing exciting new food concepts to meet a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Impact Food Group has been awarded a contract to provide catering services for Huddersfield New College, with a focus on exceptional customer service and consistent high-quality food offerings.
  • Edwards and Ward Ltd. has been awarded a contract to provide catering services to Buckingham Primary School, including lunch, nursery lunch, nursery tea, and after-school club catering, as well as any hospitality requirements.

 

Private Sector Awards:

 

  • CBRE has secured a five-year contract to provide planned and reactive hard facilities management services to the University of Glasgow.
  • Mace has been appointed to several major Associated British Ports (ABP) projects, through ABP’s Group Professional Services Framework, providing project management, cost and commercial advisory, project support, and site supervision services.
  • Aston Services Group has been awarded three new shopping centre contracts worth approximately £1 million per annum.
  • Sodexo has secured a new five-year extension to its catering and FM services contract with TriRx Pharmaceuticals Services in Speke, Liverpool, worth £3.3 million per year.
