Weekly Update: Presenting the New Data changes in Rain Contracts Dashboard
New Contracts Added: 97 contracts, totaling~£4.5 Billion in contract value.
- Public Sector Contracts: 83 contracts (~£3.8 Billion TCV)
- Private Sector Contracts: 14 contracts (~£700 Million TCV)
Contract Deletions: 43 contracts removed, with a total value of ~£180 Million.
- Public Sector: 33 contracts (~£45 Million TCV)
- Private Sector: 10 contracts (~£135 Million TCV)
Reasons for Deletion:
- Expired Contracts: 10 contracts (~£135 Million TCV)
- Contracts with Data Gaps: 12 contracts (~£22 Million TCV)
- Non-Relevant to FM: 21 contracts (~£24 Million TCV)
The Rain contracts database now boasts a total of 10,286 agreements, valued at ~£142 Billion. This includes 7,971 Public Sector contracts (~£88 Billion) and 2,315 Private Sector contracts (~£54 Billion).
Note: The database excludes waste, PFI, and framework agreements, which can be provided upon request. These additional contracts consist of 540 agreements worth ~£23.5 Billion.

Public sector awards:
- Washco Ltd has been awarded a contract for theprovision of the residential launderette’s service by the University of Sheffield. The contract is worth £2M and starts on 31st July 2023.
- Applebridge Construction has been awarded a repair and maintenance contract byTees Valley Combined Authority Group, and Teesside International Airport for a period of 3 years. The contract is worth £4M.
- Barts NHS Trust has awarded a contract for the provision of Linen and Laundry Services to Synergy Health Managed Services Ltd. The contract is for a period of 3 years and is worth £34M.
- Durham County Council has awarded a catering services contract to Creative Management Services Limited. The contract is worth£13M and starts on 31st July 2023 for a period of 3 years.
- BAM FM LTD has been awarded a £2M worthIntegrated FM services contract by the Ministry of Defence.
- ISShas been awarded new security delivery contracts by the Government Property Agency (GPA) as part of its Workplace Services Transformation Programme.
Private sector awards:
- The Westgrove Grouphas won a technical services contract at Hairpin House in Birmingham, a build-to-rent development with 237 apartments.
- BaxterStorey has won catering operations contract from Wycombe Wanderers.
- Following a competitive tender process Mitiehas secured a new £280 million contract with Network Rail.
- VINCI Facilitieshas won a three-year facilities management contract, worth £3 million with Transport for Wales.
- BAM FMhas secured a £9.6 million contract with Tudor Grange Academies Trust to deliver integrated FM services across 13 estates, over a three-year term.
